Qigong, Breathwork, and Meditation Class – LATE SUMMER ROUTINE & CELEBRATION

15 August @ 9:30 am - 11:00 am
£7
Qigong Morning Session

Late Summer Routine & Celebration

In Chinese medicine, Late Summer is a distinct and precious season — a fifth season that marks the transition between the vibrant heat of summer and the cooling descent into autumn. This is the season of Earth: a time of ripening, grounding, and centering.

Late Summer is associated with the Stomach and Spleen, the organs responsible for digestion and transformation — both physically and energetically. As the harvest begins, it’s a moment to slow down, come home to the body, and nourish ourselves deeply. It’s a time to balance giving and receiving, movement and stillness, action and reflection.

In my new Late Summer Qigong routine, we’ll move with the qualities of the Earth element — soft, flowing, circular movements that support digestion, calm the mind, and strengthen our centre. These practices help settle overthinking, ease worry, and restore harmony to the body’s middle — the energetic core from which we feel nourished and whole.

Join me to celebrate this sweet, golden season with Qigong followed by herbal tea and free healthy treats — lovingly chosen to support the Spleen and Stomach and reflect the Earth element’s comforting, grounding energy.

Let this be a moment of replenishment, community, and gentle transition — a way to honour the late summer sun while preparing for the shift to autumn.

All are welcome – new, current, and past students. No experience necessary.
